How to reset LiteSpeed WebAdmin Password

WebAdmin console is a centralized control panel to control and configure all LiteSpeed Web Server settings. For resetting the password for the Litespeed admin, you can simply do it from the command line.

Step 1.

Log into the server via SSH

Step 2.

Go to the directory that you have installed litespeed. The default directory is,

/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc

You can enter into the directory using the command,

cd /usr/local/lsws/admin/misc

Step 3.

Now, execute the following command to change the admin password,

./admpass.sh

Step 4.

Then, it will asks for the username to log into the administration web interface. This should be admin. Then, you need to enter the password.

Now it will reset.
